What inspired you to make this project?
The Golden Eagle Makers (GEM) does not only do a singular project per year. We were primarily inspired to make these projects due to our advisor, Professor John Bachman, inviting us and talking about a club that he wanted students to host. The current Makers took over the club and evolved it into an organization that actively engages with the community. During our first year in California State University, Los Angeles, we were able to complete a total of seven projects within five months with more on the way.
