What inspired you to make this project?
Our goal is to provide our residents with spaces where they can be creative and collaborative lifelong learners. With a population of approximately 350,000 people of diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds, Anaheim Public Library intends to meet the needs of various groups, by providing spaces that will provide a hub that offers a safe and welcoming space, access to a variety of tools, resources, and training, meeting the needs of the Anaheim community. Through community conversations and research, the community has expressed the need for intergenerational programs that build community, provide opportunities to learn new skills, and have a space to contribute and feel valued.
