Host: Urban Workshop – 365-A Clinton Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Join us as Scott Stoltenkamp from Urban Workshop discusses machining techniques in subtractive processes.
Scott refers to himself as a “random geek.” He’s got an extensive background covering many roles across a multitude of fields and often states “if it doesn’t require a license, I’ve done it.” Formally trained in machining at De Anza College he graduated Suma Cum Laude, then managed Rost Machining and Fabrication. Covid threw a few monkeys in his wrench and he relocated to Anaheim to watch the world end or take a stab at finishing out his career with a mouse neither of which has happened… yet. He’s currently an instructor at Urban Workshop focusing on the metal shop, machining, and CO2 Laser classes, and the Wizard of Fabrication at TrophySmack.
